Jon Huntsman stumbles into a run for President

A few weeks ago Jon Huntsman was the former Governor of Utah who was serving his country as Ambassador to China inside the Obama administration. His mildly moderate views (for a Republican) on gay rights, climate change, the stimulus excited a group of former McCain consultants who hate Mitt Romney. Today, Huntsman has tendered his letter of resignation as Ambassador to China and if press reports are to be believed a small percentage of Republicans connected to McCain are supporting his candidacy for President.

What they haven't done is to purchase their identity online. From a domain history search, it seems that jonhuntsman.com was registered as the campaign website for Jon Huntsman. It expired to a reseller in 2008. The domain was bought and parked on GoDaddy on Jan 28th, last Friday. Which means that the Huntsman team had plenty of time to buy their preferred domain. They didn't and now it's owned by someone else.

It doesn't provide any confidence in the people organizing the campaign for Jon Huntsman.
