Eric Kleefeld at TPM DC is reporting a story that stands as proof that God, or as my people call him, Yahweh, actually loves this blog.
Sharron Angle might have lost the 2010 Senate race in Nevada -- and thus a shot at everlasting fame if she had defeated a sitting Senate Majority Leader -- but that's not stopping her from going to Iowa, the top destination for political stars in the presidential season. This time of year, any prominent politician who has a layover of more than twenty-five minutes at DSM is at least putting a toe in the water for the presidential primary. While Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and Rudy Giuliani's aspirations could be taken as pretty strong hints that this blog is the subject of divine readership, Angle's entry into the Republican presidential primary would be like being texted the actual location of the Holy Grail from Allah himself.
As the Des Moines Register reports, Angle is headed to an event tomorrow by the Iowa Christian Alliance Education Fund, for a movie screening.
Sharron, here are two tips for you: learn from Michele Bachmann and don't be late to this movie screening. That just doesn't fly with Iowa caucus-goers. And if there are any Hispanics in the audience of this movie screening, don't tell them they look Asian.
