A quick look at RomneyCare

Mitt Romney will be delivering a speech on healthcare later today, presumably making an effort to distance himself and the universal healthcare plan he passed into law as Governor of Massachusetts from President Obama and the Affordable Care Act. The liberal healthcare action group Protect Your Care doesn't want to let Romney whitewash his pro-healthcare past and has put up this handy chart which shows the similarities between RomneyCare and the Affordable Care Act:

Conservatives are also trying to deny Romney a warm reception on his healthcare speech. The Wall Street Journal editorialized this morning that "Mr. Romney is compromised and not credible. ThinkProgress has a great timeline of Mitt Romney's ever-changing position on the individual mandate.
