Latino civil rights group targets Rubio

Presente.org, a Latino online civil rights organization, has a new ad out going after Senator Marco Rubio for his numerous positions which are radically out of step with policies supported by Latino-Americans.

From the Presente statement:

Republicans want Florida Senator Marco Rubio to be their Vice President. The GOP thinks that Rubio can “deliver the Latino vote," but Rubio stands with the Tea Party more than he stands with Latinos on the issues we care about.

Given how hard Republican presidential candidates are wooing Latino voters, especially in Rubio's home state of Florida, this sort of ad could take the sheen off of Rubio and his potential value as a Republican vice presidential candidate.
