Mitt Romney is in Detroit, Michigan today and the Democratic National Committee wants to make sure that folks in Detroit remember that Romney went all in opposing government aid to US automakers. Romney thought a bailout for the auto industry would lead to bankruptcy. Instead, Chrysler is on the verge of fully paying back their loan and are making some pretty fine cars, too. At the time of the auto industry bailout, Romney was wrong. In hindsight, he looks utterly foolish and embarrassingly out of touch with the economy.
