Via The Hill, I see that Jon Huntsman has formed a federal political action committee, H-PAC. This is widely being viewed as a precursor to a presidential campaign. Huntsman can use this PAC to do preliminary travel, fundraising, and infrastructure building. Given the slow start to the 2012 Republican primary, Huntsman may actually have a little time to do more networking amongst donors and activists prior to fully getting into the race. This isn't a huge development, but it's a relevant marker in Huntsman's path to becoming a fully-fledged candidate.
