There's recently been a flurry of articles in Politico and the AP about the brave new world of digital strategies, social networks, and online organizing. While Facebook and Twitter will undoubtedly be paid a great deal of attention by presidential campaigns of both parties, it's good to remember that campaigns have to get the basics right in order to win, i.e., email list building and effective campaign websites. Let JonHuntsman.com serve as a reminder that however many fawning articles are written about the savvy of Republican web operatives, these articles will not necessarily comport with reality.
